capacities, including component and system design, process development, sales,
marketing, business development and corporate management.
Managed several international joint venture companies. Founder and
President of Materials Science, Inc., a manufacturer of magnetron
sputtering sources and related technology.
Technical Expertise
Knowledgeable in a variety of PVD processes, particularly magnetron sputtering
and reactively deposited thin films. Supervised
the design and fabrication of systems for magnetic and optical storage media,
compound semiconductors, precision optics and functional and wear coatings.
Designed high performance magnetron sputtering sources used worldwide in
a broad range of demanding commercial applications such as large area coating,
magnetic storage media and telecommunication devices.
